JCP Executive Committee (EC) Elections 2018

Yesterday the results of the jcp Associate election 2018 were announced. Ivar Grimstad cleanly won the Associate seat and I would like to congratulate him! Since 2007 he has been involved in the Java Community Process as a member of the Executive Committee, Spec Lead for JSR 371 (MVC 1.0) and has served as Expert Group Member for a number of JSRs, such as JSR 375 (Java EE Security API). A more than worthy candidate. I’m proud to say that I came in second place after him! Many thanks to everyone who took part in this election. Special thanks to those who put their trust in me and voted for me!
